Like everything, iOS has its own advantages and disadvantages. Even its has a lot of advantages, one of the biggest downside of the iOS is that doesn’t allow you to customize its interface enough like Android does.

Jailbreak Hackers try very hard to bring the right customization level to iOS. This time, a new Cydia Tweak is published. This tweak brings the ability to your device to change the wallpaper every time you unlock it.

It is a very cool tweak if you don’t want your device to be boring.

Change your iPhone Wallpaper every time you unlock it

The tweak is called ” WallRotator ” and to install this tweak, you have to jailbreak your device. If you haven’t jailbroken your device yet, read these guides to learn how to do it :

This tweak automatically changes your iOS Device Wallpaper every time you unlock it. This means that if you lock your device and then turn it on again, you will notice a new wallpaper on the screen.

WallRotator comes with a pre-built wallpaper album, but if you want, you can create a new album in the stock Photo App and add all photos you want to use as wallpapers.

To install this tweak, go to Cydia and add this repo :  http://repo.cpdigitaldarkroom.com  . This is the official developer repo and after you add this repo, just search for WallRotator in Search Tab and install it.

After you install this tweak, go to the tweak Preference Panel in Settings App where you can find different options to configure, as well as enable or disable toggle for this tweak.

WallRotator changes your Wallpaper every time you unlock your iOS DeviceAlso, you can toggle on or off ” Rotate Slide to Unlock ” which changes the Slide to Unlock text to a random quote every time you unlock your device as well as ” Rotate Wallpaper ” toggle.

Also, you can find a ” Themes ” section where you can choose different wallpaper mode such as change wallpaper for both Home Screen and Lock Screen or only one of them as well as select the album where the wallpapers are located.

As I mentioned before, to use your own wallpapers, head over to Photos App and create a new album. Name it on your preference and add all photos you want to use as wallpapers. After that, head over to tweak’s preference panel and choose your album as wallpapers location.

WallRotator is available for free on developer’s repo and works perfectly with all iOS 8 Devices.
