One of the biggest Apple’s disadvantage is the ability to customize your device. But, they are trying to improve this year-by-year by releasing new updates and system firmware. Even Apple doesn’t allow you to do many customizations to your device, still it allows you to change the alarm sound on your iOS Device.
If you don’t like Apple’s Default Tones for Ringtone or Alarm Sound, then you can choose to customize it and use your favorite song instead.

Since iOS 6, this has been available for any iOS Device. You can choose a song stored on iPhone or iPad and set it as Alarm Sound. You can use any song stored on your iOS Device but if you are on iOS 8.4 and are using Apple’s Latest Music Streaming Service, you can also use tracks from Apple Music to set them as alarm sound.

How to Set Apple Music Song as Alarm Sounds on iPhone and iPad
Step 1: Choose your Song
To set a song as alarm sound on iOS, you don’t need to go straight to the Clock App to set the song. First, you have to open the Apple Music App and Pick a Song.
Step 2: Add to Music
After you find a good wake-up song on the Apple Music App, tap on the three dots next to song title and either select the Add to a Playlist or Add to My Music Option from the Popup Menu that appears.
Step 3: Set it as Alarm Sound
Now, you have to launch the Clock App and try to set a new alarm. After you choose the preferred clock, select Sound and then scroll up to find ‘Pick a Song’ Option. Tap on that option and you should see the streaming song as an option in your Playlist or under the Songs Categories.

Note: If you decide to set an Apple Music Song as your Alarm Sound, then you make sure you have a good WiFi connection or the song you selected is available offline because it will use your Data Plan if it is only available online.
