The first error report was made from an iOS User on Apple’s Support Communities. He reported that he got stuck at Slide to Upgrade Screen while updating to iOS 9. He says that his device got stuck at Slide to Upgrade Screen just after the update process.
After the report from a few users about this problem, Apple has just published a new support document which provides the instructions to fix this issue.
To learn how to fix iOS 9 Update Stuck at Slide to Upgrade Screen, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Connect your iOS Device to your computer and open iTunes.
Step 2: Select your device. If your device doesn’t appear on iTunes, force restart it by pressing and holding both Sleep/Wake Button and Home Button for about 10-12 seconds. Release them when the Apple Logo Appear.
Step 3: After iTunes recognizes your device, you should restore your device from an iTunes Backup. You should have made an iTunes backup of your device before updating to iOS 9 (Always is recommended to do a full backup using iTunes before Updating a new iOS Version), then restore from that iTunes Backup.
If you haven’t made an iTunes Backup before updating to iOS 9, try to do it while your device is stuck at Slide to Upgrade Screen.
